About The Event
The JAR Education teacher development day is a 6 hour Workshop designed for educators. It is aimed to develop teachers’ understanding of Drone technology in relation to STEM teaching. This development program provides three learning activities to increase teachers’ familiarity with the Drone hardware, software and operations, which are the resources used in the Drone Integration Program courses. It is also a great opportunity for teachers to network on STEM learning activities!
Given the rate of technological advancement, there has never been a more crucial time for teachers to partner with Industry to deliver new educational activities. In addition to learning about current educational offerings, this Professional Development day provides teachers with the opportunity to engage in discussions about the practical use of this this technology in the classroom.
JAR values the input of STEM teachers from all regions and school types. We want to provide a unique platform for educators to share their experience and to discuss and enhance current teaching and learning practices.
